Dr. Alhassan Nantogmah Attah is the Executive Director of the Ghana Forestry Commission - Timber Industry Development Division (TIDD) and the FLEGT Facilitator, Guyana. In the periods of 1977 to 2011, he did several short courses on Management of Forest Industries, Finance Marketing and Computing.

He holds a BSc in Statistics /Mathematics ( 2nd Class Upper) from the University of Ghana, Masters in Business Administration at Henley Management College in United Kingdom. In 2011, he obtained his PhD (Technology) in the the Brunel University, and United Kingdom.

Prof. Emmanuel Acheampong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Silviculture and Forest Management, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He holds a PhD in Human Geography (researching into forest-based livelihoods), an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management, both from the University of Hull, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Agriculture (with First Class Honours) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. His teaching and research interests include natural resource and environmental governance; environmental and natural resource policy and politics; forest-based livelihoods; and Forests and Climate Change. He has done extensive research into forest governance systems, timber production networks and forest justices in Ghana. He has also done extensive research on illegal logging, particularly chainsaw milling in Ghana. He has several publications in peer reviewed international journals

Mrs. Alberta Adjei Gotah is the Finance Manageress of Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission, Ghana. She had her second cycle education at Yaa Asantewaa Girls' School in Kumasi. From there, she continued to Kumasi Polytechnic to obtained HND in Accountancy in the year 2000. She furthered her education again in University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where she graduated in 2010 with B. Commerce. Later, in 2012 to 2014, she had her Masters Degree, MBA Finance at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.

Dr. Quaye Botchway is an experienced Consultant / Research Manager/ Senior Officer and Policy Analyst with established track record which brings together earlier experiences at Cranfield School of Management, Coventry Business School and business experience outside academia in private sector research and consultancy, public sector regulation and infrastructure development in the voluntary sector. A strategic thinker with a passion for ensuring that high quality research makes a difference to organisations, individuals and society at large. Well organised, articulate, strong analytical and networking skills and very good at handling relationships with stakeholders.

Esi Ametoxe Banful is the General Manager of Kumasi Wood Clusters Association. She holds a MSc. in Wood Technology and Industrial Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a B.Sc Agric (Crop Science) from the University of Ghana Legon.

Her research interest includes alternative use of logy waste, small and medium forest enterprises, project implementation, monitoring and reporting

George Wireko-Brobby is the Managing Director at Bibiani Logging and Lumber Co. Ltd. He studied in Columbia University in the New York City. He holds a BSc Engineering in Physics/Applied Physics. George is also the Managing Director of Xylogi Company Limited Ghana. His research and business interests include Business planning, small-medium forest enterprises and Industrial engineering.

Gustav Adu is the Executive Director at Kumasi Wood Clusters Association (KWC). He holds a MSc in Wood Technology and Industrial Management. In 2005-2009, he developed the framework for group certification system to enable small - medium forest enterprises (SMFEs) under group certification as a means of making forest Management certification and chain of custody bearable to them. His interest includes technical guidance for small - medium size forest enterprises, setting up system and structures for legality verification, and forest management.
