The Knowledge for World Conservation (KWC) has successfully organized Community Sensitization Durbars to promote inclusive forest monitoring, conservation, and sustainable management practices.
KWC conducted a baseline assessment on forest personnel’s awareness and capacity in using tech-based monitoring tools in Ghana. While digital literacy and hands-on experience were limited, there was strong enthusiasm for adopting and integrating smart tools like the GFW Forest Watcher App to enhance forest protection in the Offinso Forest District.
